Enercare Water Heater Return Process
If you are a residential homeowner in Ontario renting your hot water heater from Enercare and looking to rent from another company or to buy your own water heater, you need to know the process for returning your old Enercare water heater to one of the Enercare drop off locations.
If you are looking to return your old Enercare Water Heater, you are no longer required to obtain a Removal Authorization Number. Enercare will accept valid agency agreement that allows Installation Company to return hot water heater back to Enercare on customer’s behalf.
This agency appointment agreement requires customer’s name, address, phone number, old Enercare water heater serial number, and signature of the account holder.
