Furnace Protection Program

Does anybody know much about furnace protection program? Is it worth the money to register for it in case the furnace brekas dowm? What does it cover and what is a good program? Thanx

Furnace protections vary between $15-$40 and if your furnace is under 10 years old i think its worth the money to get it, we had one on our old furnace and it did save us money on service calls. However if your furnace is over 10 years of age, you might as well consider a replacement as most companies now offer you 10 years warranty on parts and labour which saves you on paying for protection plans

I’ce been paying 29.99$ for my furnace protection program untill i realized i might as well get a brand new furnace for financing for the same amount which already included the maintenance and service. I live in Toronto and you can fins many companies even this one that will give you a quote
