Every time my AC turns on or off, thermostat makes a very loud clicking noise and its gotten worse over the past few weeks. What can this be and how do i fix it, as it getting annoying, it even wakes me up at the middle of the night.
I had the same problem with my thermostat before and after replacing the thermostat it started working normal, so try replacing your thermostat, i was told that connections sometimes are bad and overtime it starts to cause the noise
Purchase and install smart thermostats and get $100 bill credit applied to your Enbridge account.
I had a similar problem as well with my old thermostat. It was over 15 years old so it was probably because of its age. I doubt youd easily be able to fix the problem with your thermostat without buying a new one. I’ve had my new Nest thermostat for two years and it works very well and got rid of the noise. It’s a convenient thing to have. Other smart thermostats would do the job too, but I chose Nest because I’ve heard good things about it.
